This 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioning bar is ideal for dry hair. Infused with Ylang Ylang, an essential oil known for its hydrating and nourishing properties, and Cocoa Butter, a natural, antioxidant-rich moisturizer, this product enriches strands to restore strength and shine. The perfect combination of luxury and efficacy, the Rest Shampoo Bar brings the sophistication of a high-end salon right to your shower.
For those with very dry hair, pair with our zero waste solid conditioner bar for a extra moisturizing experience.
This 2-in-1 shampoo & conditioner bar is:

It is NOT soap, but pH balanced shampoo bar therefore no acidic rinse or transition period is required as you would get with soap-based shampoo bars.
Directions how to use a 2 in 1 shampoo bar:
Step 1:
Wet your hair and the shampoo bar with warm water.
Step 2:
Rub the shampoo bar between your wet hands and lather up. Gently rub the bar directly onto your scalp and hair. You can try a circular motion, or run it along your hair in a combing or "painting" motion.
Step 3:
Massage the lather throughout your scalp and hair, just as you would with liquid shampoo, then rinse completely with warm clean water until there is no more foam. Repeat if necessary.
- INGREDIENTS & PROPERTIES
- Sodium cocoyl isethionate (SCI Powder) & Cocamidropopyl Betaine are naturally derived mild surfactants responsible for gentle cleaning our scalp and hair from excess sebum and dirt. Both derived from coconut oil and palm oil-free.
- BTMS - 25 (Behentrimonium Methosulfate (and) Cetearyl Alcohol) is a conditioner agent. It has nothing to do with sulfates or alcohol! Derived from rapeseed and coconut oils.
- Cetyl alcohol - Not to be confused with alcohol (ethanol) it provides softening, hydrating properties and acts as a thickener. Our cetyl alcohol is palm oil-free.
- Cocoa Butter nourishes and creates fine lipid barrier preventing moisture loss.
- Yellow Clay is a gentle clay great for dry hair
- Panthenol (Provitamin B5) protects hair from styling and environmental damage by locking in moisture. It also adds volume and shine.
- Ylang Ylang Essential Oil Hydrating.
- Cedar wood Essential Oil Hydrating
- Eco-Certified natural preservative. As a safety requirement, any products that get in contact with water must contain a preservative to keep you safe from mold and bacteria.
- Size: Our shampoo bar is handmade in small batches and may vary in color, each bar is unique and varies slightly in size. Approx. 3 oz. Each bar may last 2 - 4 months worth of washing, depending on hair length, usage and storage.
- Care: Handmade shampoo bars will last longer if allowed to dry in between uses, we recommend using a well-drained soap dish or use a soap bag to hang it up in the shower to extend the life of your shampoo bar. (Don't leave them on a shower caddy if it's positioned close to the running water. Bottom of the shower isn't a good option either as there will be lots of humidity.) Store unopened shampoo bars in a cool dry place.
- Note: Our bars are not intended for children below the age of 3. If used for children, we advise not to rub the bar onto the child's scalp, but rather create lather (foam) in your hands and use it to wash hair and scalp.

- When you have sensitive skin or allergies, do a skin patch test first for 24 hours, if irritation or redness develops, discontinue use immediately, just in case.

Shipping note: Due to its handmade nature and natural ingredients used, our products can melt in very hot temperatures. During hot weather, please watch your tracking information and try to get your shipment from your mailbox or porch as soon as possible.
